As imagined from my latest novel, ‘Peckersley’s Bird Café’.

In the story, Norman Peckersley is a now retired farm labourer. But in 1972, he and his mates formed a band known as Norman & The Dung Diggers, scoring a Number Two in the charts hit.

Here is what the song sounded like, as recreated over 50 years later! Now who says that subtlety is everything? (a one minute video)
