‘Chill Out With A Book’ readers’ website was founded in 2016 by Pauline Barclay, herself now an author of nine published books. Its aim was to support indie authors by discovering the best of them and giving them a much needed shout out by way of their Chill Awards.
In March 2023, ‘Gavin & The Bodysnatchers’ scooped a hat-trick of awards at Chill. See here:
This was followed up by Pauline with an invitation to join her on one of her podcasts – which itself is a whole series, which she calls ‘Celebrating Success’ where she talks to various folk from the world independent fiction (and elsewhere) on work that’s caught her eye.
